Tour One: Africa Twin Tasmania Tour

Date: April 11 – April 15 Bike: Africa Twin Route/Sites: Over nights stops: Corinna, Strathgordon, Hobart, St Helens and Launceston. Cost: $4,750 excluding airfares and meals. Accommodation: Pub/Hotel.

Tour Three: Africa Twin Alice Spring to Broome

Date: May 16 – May 22 (Arrive May 15) Bike: Africa Twin Route/Sites: Departing from Ooraminna Station, Alice Springs, this tour heads north to the Tanami Track before turning off to Papunya, and the great open dirt roads. Heading west, the tour stops off at a local Indigenous community, Kunawarritji (Well 33) located on the Canning Stock Route, before continuing to Marble Bar, a town and rock formation in the Pilbara. The tour then continues to follow the west coast up to the coastal, pearling and tourist town of Broome. Cost: $5,150 excluding airfares (all meals and accommodation included)

Tour Four: Africa Twin Broome to Halls Creek

Date: May 25 – May 31 (Return flight on June 1 from Halls Creek to Broome at 3.00pm [arrive at 4.45pm]) Bike: Africa Twin Route/Sites: Departing from the coastal, pearling and tourist town of Broome, this tour heads up to the tip of the north west of Australia, a land of breathtaking contrasts. Riding to the beautiful Cape Leveque, a remote peninsula in the far north of the Kimberley, this tour will also visit Willie’s Pearl Farm. Riding back to Willare Bridge Roadhouse, located on the beautiful Fitzroy River and known as Beef and Barra country, the tour then heads to Derby. Riders explore the Gibb River Road, from Derby to Kununurra, its waterholes and gorges and the mighty Mitchell Falls. The tour continues and concludes in the town of Halls Creek, the northern end of the Canning Stock Route, covering desert and pastoral country. Cost: $5,500 (Rider pays for first night accommodation in Broome and return flight home from Broome. Price includes flight from Halls Creek to Broome at conclusion of tour, and all meals and accommodation once tour commences)

Tour Five: Africa Twin Halls Creek to Birdsville

Date: June 2 – June 7 (Flight on June 1 from Broome to Halls Creek departing at 10.30am [arrive at 12.15pm] and return flight on June 8 from Birdsville to Brisbane at 10.50am [arrive at 5.15pm]) Bike: Africa Twin Route/Sites: Departing early from Halls Creek to see the Wolfe Creek Crater, the second largest crater in the world, riders will make their way to the start of the Tanami Track. Riding the entire Tanami Track, a track that follows a cattle droving route, riders arrive in Alice Springs, spending the night at breathtaking Ooraminna Station. Riding out west to Uluru, the massive sandstone monolith in the heart of the Northern Territory’s arid “Red Centre”, riders get to ride out to and around this spectacular rock. The tour then heads towards Kulgera and Mt Dare, the western edge of the Simpson Desert, just 10km south of the Northern Territory border. Departing Mt Dare, riders head to magical Dalhousie Springs which boasts a group of over 60 natural artesian springs and ride to Oonadatta, William Creek, Lake Eyre and continue along the Birdsville Track arriving in Birdsville to spend the night in the iconic Birdsville Pub. Cost: $5,950 (Rider pays for first night of accommodation in Halls Creek. Price includes flights from Broome to Halls Creek and Birdsville to Brisbane at conclusion of tour, all meals and accommodation once tour commences. Rider is responsible for flights to Broome and from Brisbane to home).
