Departing from Birdsville to Alice Springs, crossing one of Australia’s greatest deserts. Not only do we get to ride through some of the most incredible places including Big Red, Erabena Track, Mokari Airstrip and Mount Dare, The final night is Ooraminna Station (Alice Springs).
This trip is like all desert trips and requires a good level of skill and fitness. Distance over 800km with some days being just over 100km per day.
Like all our tours, we supply your accommodation, food, bedding, hot showers every night and the new CRF450L.
Flights from Brisbane to Birdsville or Birdsville to Brisbane are included in the tour price. Customer books their own flight in or out of Alice Springs.
day 1
You arrive and we head approx 70K into the desert for the first night under the stars
day 2
Poepell Corner and onto the French Line camping about 40Km west of Poepell Corner
day 3
Spend the morning on the French Line and the Afternoon on WAA Line
day 4
Slowly the dunes get smaller and we head toward Dalhousie Springs for a swim and onto Mount Dare
day 5
Binns Track and a big run towards Alice Springs. Daryl Beattie Adventures stay at Ooraminna Station
